We are pleased to announce the release of SiteSphere 6.5, which includes further new features and enhancements.
 
Firstly, you will notice the new series of tabs across the top-left of SiteSphere. These provide easy access to Sections and Menus, plus a preview of your website that loads inside SiteSphere.
 
Both the Section and the Menu tabs now display an easily navigated hierarchical tree view of their content which appears in place of the usual left-menu, clicking the Content View tab or Home returns you to the left-menu options.
 
We have also included a global search box above the tabs which allows you to search across Items, Categories, Articles, Article Types, Sections, Menus, Forms, Captions, Knowledge Trees, Emails, Sales Orders, Contacts, Users and other data to find the content you wish to view or edit.
 
Finally, we have also added the SiteSphere Data Retention Policy. The new policy will start on Dec 15, 2010 and is aimed at ensuring your database doesn't become cluttered with logs and data which have passed their usefulness.
 
To view the policy go to Settings > Data Retention Policy.

In line with our ongoing commitment to improve your daily SiteSphere experience we are pleased to report that our development team has been hard at work improving SiteSphere's performance.
 
For those who regularly switch between different menu options, the team have worked on ensuring those first screens you see load an order of magnitude faster.
 
We still have some way to go but the improvements that are already in place should be noticeable.
